About Me

Builder by nature.
Operator by training.
Founder by choice.

I'm Yash Shahdeo — a product-focused startup operator from New Delhi. I work at the intersection of product strategy, AI systems, and program execution. Before building products, I raced go-karts. Both taught me the same thing: precision beats speed.

My Story

From Ranchi to running
AI product systems.

I grew up in Ranchi, Jharkhand — not exactly the startup capital of India. But I was always the person who wanted to know how things worked and how to make them work better. That curiosity led me to study Automobile Engineering at LPU, where I discovered that engineering isn't just about machines — it's about systems thinking.

While most of my peers were focused purely on academics, I was captaining go-kart and BAJA teams, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and figuring out how steering geometry affects lap time. I didn't know it then, but I was already doing product management.

My first real operations role was at Jalsa Events in Ranchi — where I built execution trackers, CRM workflows, and coordination frameworks from scratch. Small company, big learning. I discovered I was good at turning chaos into repeatable systems.

Then came Crenovent Technologies — where I went from Operations Manager to Product & Program Manager in the Founder's Office within three months. I was defining AI agents, writing PRDs, managing a 10-member engineering team, and architecting data systems across four CRMs — all simultaneously. It was the most compressed learning experience of my career.

Out of everything I learned at Crenovent, one question kept bothering me: "Why does nobody have a clear picture of their customer's full journey?" That question became Visibli — my own AI-native platform for customer lifecycle intelligence. I'm building it now.

2015 – 2016
Secondary School · Ranchi
Javahar Vidya Mandir — 8.8 CGPA. Started asking "why does this work the way it does?"
2016 – 2018
Senior Secondary · RTC College
Developed interest in engineering and mechanical systems. First exposure to motorsport.
2018 – 2023
Diploma + B.Tech · LPU, Punjab
Automobile Engineering, 8.5 CGPA. Led go-kart and BAJA teams. Set fastest lap record at Buddha International Circuit (IKR 2022). Learned that systems win races.
Oct 2022 – Feb 2023
Business Development · Acmegrade
Bangalore. 500+ prospects qualified. First taste of sales and customer research — learned what makes people say yes.
Mar 2023 – Aug 2024
Operations Executive · Jalsa Events
Built operational reporting systems, execution trackers, CRM workflows from scratch. Learned that process design is a superpower.
Dec 2024 – Present
Founder's Office · Crenovent
Went from Ops Manager to Product & Program Manager in 3 months. Shipped 25+ AI agents, multi-CRM architecture, meeting intelligence platform. Managed 10-person eng team.
2025 – Now
Founder & CEO · Visibli ⚡
Building an AI-native customer lifecycle intelligence platform. Solving the problem I couldn't stop thinking about at Crenovent.

How I Think

The principles I operate by.

🗺️
Architecture before code
I always draw the system before writing a single spec. Every input, output, actor, and edge case mapped first. Ambiguity in the design phase is cheap. Ambiguity in sprint 3 is expensive.
PRD → Workflow → Engineering. Always in that order.
👤
Users first, always
I conducted user interviews with Sales Execs, RevOps leaders, and CS managers before writing a single requirement. The best product decisions come from listening, not assuming.
Talk to 5 users before writing the first user story.
🔗
Own the full stack
I've chosen proprietary data layers over vendor shortcuts twice. More work upfront, but you own the moat. When Visibli's CDSL is complete, no third party can replicate it.
Vendor dependency is a technical debt you pay forever.
Precision beats speed
Learned on the track: going fast without precision just means you crash faster. The same applies to product. A well-spec'd sprint beats a rushed one every time.
Fastest lap at BIC came from braking later, not accelerating harder.
📐
Ship, then measure
I define instrumentation before building. UAT before production. Success metrics before features. The loop is: instrument → ship → measure → iterate. Not: ship → hope.
You can't improve what you didn't define how to measure.
🤝
Alignment is infrastructure
Stakeholder misalignment discovered at sprint 3 is a different category of problem. I treat alignment as part of the architecture — not a soft skill, but a hard delivery dependency.
The best PRD in the world fails without the right people bought in.

Beyond the Desk

I also race.

The same systems-thinking that designs AI architectures also wins on a race track. Both reward preparation, precision, and knowing when to push.

I'm a multiple-time motorsports award recipient who set the fastest lap record at Buddha International Circuit in the IKR 2022 Go-Karting championship. That record didn't come from raw speed — it came from understanding the track, optimising the braking points, and executing a consistent system across every lap.

I've led Go-Karting and BAJA Off-Road teams as Captain and Team Manager — handling budgets, vendor negotiations, technical decisions on steering and suspension geometry, and coordinating a team of engineers under pressure. Sound familiar?

For two consecutive years I contributed to Student Formula BAJA — one of the most rigorous engineering competitions for students — developing steering and suspension systems. The discipline of iterative testing and improvement there directly shaped how I approach product iteration today.

Philosophy

How I approach hard problems.

"
The best way to predict the future is to build the system that creates it — not wait for clarity before starting.
— Yash Shahdeo · on why he started Visibli
01
Problems before solutions
I spend more time defining what's broken than designing the fix. A well-defined problem is 60% of the solution.
02
Documentation is leverage
A good PRD multiplies engineering capacity. A bad one divides it. I write specs that teams can execute without daily hand-holding.
03
Stakeholders are part of the system
People aren't obstacles to shipping — they're inputs. I treat alignment as architecture, not an afterthought.
04
Own what you build
I chose a proprietary data layer for Visibli when a vendor shortcut was available. The moat is worth the work.

Let's build something.
